Boulder Farmers' Market Is Open!

Yahoo, it's opening day for the Boulder Farmers' Market, and the place is already buzzing with activity. I was thrilled to see most of my favorite organic farms already represented, like Abbondanza, Cure, Red Wagon, Isabelle, and Pachamama. Early spring greens are already available, with spinach, arugula, salad mix, mustard greens, and baby chard on offer, as well as onions, garlic, and seeds. At Red Wagon's stand, I bought my first green garlic of the season!! The market is already well filled out for this early, with the Canyon Street wing and the food court both in full swing. With temperatures expected to be near 80 today, what a great day to get out for a farmers' market stroll (open until 2). Don't forget your shopping bags!
