The new Lucky's Market in Longmont seems to be continuing in grand opening mode, with more exceptional deals that don't look to be shared with the Boulder store (you can see both sale flyers at their website here). The stunners for this week in Longmont through September 25th to me are boneless beef ribeye steaks for just $6.99 a pound (again, with Lucky's "never ever" standards) and Alaskan wild king salmon for just $9.99 a pound. That's a price you might see for coho, but certainly not king. Also, beef stew meat is very good at $3.49 a pound and boneless center-cut pork chops are $2.99 a pound.
In organic produce, baby carrots and broccoli are both just $1 a pound (guess the carrots would be a bag), honeycrisp apples are $1.99 a pound, chard is $1.99 a bunch, and russet potatoes or red onions are 99 cents a pound. Elsewhere in the store, Hope organic hummus is great at $2.50 each (and it's local), local White Girl tomatillo salsas are $3.99 a 16 ounce jar, and obviously local Boulder ice cream is $2.99 a pint, among many other deals.
