Alfalfa's Chicken Is Great!

Today is the last day of Alfalfa's four-day sale celebrating the opening of their new Louisville store (pretty nice one, I must say), and the sales are happening both there and at the Boulder store. We tried the bone-in split antibiotic-free chicken breasts out on the grill last night (amazing at $1.99 a pound, $4 off), and they were spectacular. So good in fact that I'm going back today so we can do a repeat on Tuesday. Their housemade roasted tomato and pesto farfalle pasta salad also is one of the best pasta salads I've ever tasted, and at $2.99 a pound through today (also $4 off), irresistible. One word of caution: with food this good at these prices, I've seen a couple of out of stocking problems at the Boulder store.
