Chinese New Year Soon
I've always had a suspicion that we humans have some deep-rooted need to schedule celebrations for February, about the most dismal month of the year. Chinese New Year Coming Up
Whew, we've gotten through Valentine's Day, still have Mardi Gras to do this Tuesday (look a few posts down for those guides), and then there's Chinese New Year this Thursday, the 19th. Saveur magazine offers you A Feast for Chinese New Year, and since Lunar New Year also ties into this, Epicurious offers A Taste of Lunar New Year beyond China, exploring cuisines of Korea and Vietnam, although I'm not sure if the celebration days are identical.
