Project Pie To Help Bridge House

This Thursday, the 11th, Boulder's Project Pie, an artisanal pizza place at 1155 13th Street on the Hill will be donating fully half of the day's proceeds to benefit Bridge House, a Boulder charity dedicated to helping the homeless and working poor locally. If you are looking for a meal for yourself that will help others as well, give it a try!

Whole Foods Benefit Chef Competition

Whole Foods is sponsoring s chef cook-off competition called The Big Event 3, Here We Grow Again!, involving dinner, music and a silent auction this coming Saturday, September 13th in Lafayette, to benefit the Sister Carmen family resource center. They say you can buy tickets online at sistercarmen.org, but it's not easy to see where. If you wait long enough, the event will appear on the fly-in, or you can them at 303 665-4342.

Upcoming Ice Cream Social

The Whole Foods in Superior will hold an ice cream social from 1 to 3 this coming Saturday, the 27th, with proceeds benefitting the Whole Planet Foundation. That same day, the Pearl Street store will host a "spring has sprung celebration," decorating pots and planting seeds, with a $1 donation suggested to the Foundation as well.
