I Adore Saveur Magazine

I read a lot of cooking magazines, and a fair amount in general, and continue to be amazed at the quality of Saveur magazine.  While it does contain recipes related to its features, its focus is on the culture and history of food around the world, with photography that rivals National Geographic.  I learn astonishing things with every issue.  For instance, from the current issue, there's an island the size of Switzerland at the mouth of the Amazon River, mile markers along Route 7 in France are called bornes, and hops for beer-making are related to cannabis.  And that's just for starters.  Thank you, Saveur, for continuing to open my eyes with every issue.
