Father's Day Sunday
Father's Day is coming up this Sunday, plus the summer solstice too. Father's Day isn't really a big culinary holiday, unless you're trying to take over the grill for him. (Maybe buy him a new grill.) If so, here's a reminder of some grilling guides I've previously posted.

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all those dads out there. If you are still casting about for some culinary inspiration for the day, here's a reminder of the Father's Day guides I posted a few days ago.

Father's Day Soon This Sunday
As holidays go, Father's Day isn't exactly on a culinary par with something like Thanksgiving, but if your mind turns toward food, here are a few guides to help you out for this Sunday: Father's Day from Epicurious, Father's Day Cookout from Cooking Light (what if he insists the grill is his responsibility?), Father's Day Favorites from Saveur magazine, and don't forget An Incomplete List of Unexpected Gifts for Dad for foodie dad-related ideas.

Father's Day This Sunday
Unlike many (most?) holidays, Father's Day doesn't seem to have gained a whole lot of culinary traction. But with the holiday coming up this Sunday, the 16th, you might want to check these sites out for a little help: Father's Day Recipes from Bon Appetit, A Father's Day Gift Guide, also from Bon Appetit, and Love Dad - Cook Him Healthy Food from Whole Foods (the latter falling in with my sensibility towards Valentine's Day - why cook your loved one a dinner calculated to finish him/her off?).

Father's Day Coming Up
Father's Day is a bit of a culinary challenge, as taking dad out to dinner doesn't have as much of a following as taking mom out on Mother's Day. Since dads often have primary grilling responsibilities at home (hope I'm not sounding dated, but this holds true even among twenty-somethings I know), some people like to celebrate the day by taking over the grill. If you're thinking of doing that, here's a reminder about the grilling guides I mentioned for Memorial Day. Alternatively, Restaurant 4580 is going to be doing a special Father's Day grill, suitable for those who want to take their dad out, or for those who will be toasting him from afar, be it across the country, across the world, or all the way (hopefully) to heaven.

Father's Day Coming Up
Father's Day this Sunday isn't exactly a big culinary holiday, but if you're looking for dinner inspiration, check out Epicurious' Father's Day Fun page and Bon Appetit's Father's Day Favorites slideshow. Since the grill tends to dominate the day, you can also look back to the guides I collected for Memorial Day, and also check out Saveur's current issue on the BBQ Nation.
