A Regional BBQ Goldmine
For those ambitious barbequers/smokers out there, the current issue of Saveur magazine should be in your hand or on your screen. It focuses on BBQ Nation, with great articles on regional styles that highlight off the beaten path places, with stunning photography, especially the portraiture. The serious bbq gourmand will appreciate the issue's recipe collection, which includes classic regional ribs, sides like Carolina hush puppies, and a stellar group of regional sauces to make from scratch. Something to consider for this weekend's cuisine, maybe for Father's Day.
