Anybody else been around here long enough to remember the pancake breakfasts that the original Alfalfa's used to have? (Dog washes, too, and all for very good causes.) Well, the pancake breakfast will make its grand return this Saturday, the 30th, from 7 to 10 am in the Alfalfa's parking lot, as an all-you-can-eat benefit for Community Food Share. Fill up for a worthy cause before heading to the Saturday Boulder Farmer's Market, practically next door. Here's what Alf's says:
"Alfalfa’s is reviving its infamous tradition of the Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser! All proceeds will benefit Community Food Share, the official food bank for Boulder county, providing free food to children and families in poverty. So, give back and get back at the same time!
There will be music, love and piles and piles of eggs, sausage, and of course, pancakes galore - from buttermilk and blueberry, to gluten-free & vegan options too! All you can eat! Adults $7, kids 10 and under just $3. (cash only, pretty please)
Special thank you to our partners who will be donating food and helping to make this fundraiser possible:
