GoLite Warehouse Sale Coming Up

Kind readers have previously pardoned my going off-topic to enthuse about the GoLite warehouse sale, so I hope you'll indulge me again (besides, after all that relevant cooking and eating from Boulder's natural foods bounty, you'll need great high performance gear to get outdoors and work it off, so maybe there is a connection). The fall/winter GoLite (aka GoLight) warehouse sale will start this Saturday, the 12th, running from 9 am to 7 pm every day through Sunday the 20th. GoLite Warehouse Sale Starts This Weekend

Okay, so this has nothing to do with cooking, but it's too good to ignore and I've mentioned it before. The big GoLite (or GoLight, as people tend to spell it) outdoor gear sale, with huge savings of 30 to 80%, starts this Saturday and will run everyday through the 15th, 9 am to 7 pm. It's at the same place as last year, 3850 Frontier Street, just off of Pearl west of Foothills Parkway. Details here. Grab some great gear and get outdoors to work off all those cooking calories. A Great Saturday, Get Out There

What a day to get out and get going. Today's the last regular day of the Boulder Farmers' Market season, although they're planning a "fall cornucopia market" for next weekend too. The GoLite warehouse sale starts today, there are holiday tasting fairs at Sunflower (11-2) and King Soopers (noon-5), and to top it off, you can catch a First Bite Boulder dinner at just $26 for three fabulous courses at over 40 Boulder restaurants. Forget about raking the leaves.

You need clothes and gear for working off all those good cooking calories, right? Our favorite GoLite warehouse sale is coming up, and it's gotten even bigger than before. It will run from Saturday, November 13th, all the way through the 21st, 9 am to 7 pm everyday, with outdoor clothing and gear at 30 to 80% off. It has also moved to 3550 Frontier Avenue, between 30th and Foothills on Pearl. In a foodie connection, our beloved Streat Chefs (Top Chef Hosea Rosenberg's food truck) will make five appearances, alternating between "happy hour" (4-7) and lunch (11-2), starting with happy hour on Monday, lunch Tuesday, etc through happy hour on Friday. Food and discount gear, couldn't be better. (P.S. If I misspelled it "GoLight warehouse sale," would it be easier to find via Google?)

GoLite Warehouse Sale Starts Friday

Now that the Title Nine Blowout Sale has come and gone, we have another great opportunity coming up to find cutting edge workout wear for burning off all those cooking calories. The GoLite semi-annual warehouse clearance sale will be happening at 6230 Lookout Road in Gunbarrel, 8 to 8 Friday, and 9 to 5 on Saturday and Sunday, April 23-25. They promise "30-90% off performance apparel, outerwear, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags and more." I scored some really wonderful stuff last time I was there, including a breathable waterproof running jacket for at least half off, and a two water bottle fanny pack for about $12.
