Here's the barest outline. With the great deals at the new Lucky's Market in Longmont, it's worth a trip out there for me, and tonight will be the Alaskan wild king salmon they have for an astonishing $9.99 a pound.
With my basil plants gigantic, and somewhat bent from their pummeling in the rain, tomorrow will have to be a pasta with pesto made from scratch. Whole Foods has my new favorite Delallo whole wheat pastas on sale now for a quite good $2 a one pound bag.
For Sunday, we'll hit the grill with some of those boneless ribeyes the new Lucky's has this week for just $6.99 a pound. Am hoping to find out later today if any wonderful Munson's corn survived our floods to go along with it.
Sketchy, but no time for writing, and not much for cooking, either.
