Mardi Gras Tomorrow

Happy snowy Presidents' Day, Boulder. Not exactly a big culinary holiday, cherry pie being about as far as one could stretch it, although Thomas Jefferson was quite the gourmand, could be some opportunity there even though his birthday is not one of the two being celebrated. But tomorrow we have Mardi Gras. so look quite a few posts down for the guides I posted about that. In this house, dinner will be Creole chicken and ham fried rice from Food and Wine magazine. Remember to wear your purple, green and gold, and laissez les bons temps rouler!
