National Buttermilk Biscuit Day

Is today really National Buttermilk Biscuit Day? If so, here's the best recipe in the world, from Boulder's own beloved Dot's Diner, published better than a decade ago in Bon Appetit. I remember that at the time it was published, the Dot's Diner folks noted a correction in the Camera, saying that the butter should be just barely worked in, not as thoroughly as Bon Appetit suggests.
