One-Day Sale at Whole Foods Tomorrow

Our local Whole Foods stores will hold another one-day sale tomorrow, the 20th, with a trio of good deals to be had. Greenlees' incredible cinnamon bread will be half off at $4 a loaf. If you've ever wanted to taste an $8 dollar loaf of bread (okay, technically $7.99), this is your shot to do it at an actually reasonable price. And in my last experience with it, it kept for quite a while in the fridge, probably because of its decadent sugar content. Orchid fans should note that 4" pots of orchids will be half off at $9.99. Also, previously frozen wild sockeye salmon fillets will be $8.99 a pound, $6 off their usual price. Shoppers should note that Sprouts this week (through tomorrow, and who knows what their new sale might bring) has fresh, not frozen, wild caught Alaskan sockeye for $9.99 a pound. Whole Foods' previously frozen fish does carry the pedigree of being certified sustainable, and I've never met a Whole Foods fish I didn't like.
