The Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center does incredible work helping to save injured or abandoned wild animals in Boulder County. (Don't think that the Boulder Humane Society can treat these - I discovered this when a baby raccoon with distemper walked up to our door looking for help several years ago, and Greenwood was fantastic.) Greenwood relies heavily on volunteers and donations, and this year is launching a Dine Out for Wildlife this Monday, the 8th, when the Center will get a bit of the proceeds from your purchase. While I usually advocate cooking at home and dining in, I applaud the limited selections within Boulder listed below that are supporting this wonderful cause, so get out there! Here are the details from them:
Please join us for our first annual Dine Out for Wildlife, Monday, April 8. A portion of your dining dollars will benefit orphaned and injured wildlife. Please patronize these eateries for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Casa Alvarez - Boulder
Harold's and The Bayonet Room - Longmont
Juju's Bakery & Cafe - Superior
Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Longmont
Papa Murphy's - North Boulder, South Boulder & Erie
Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar - Louisville
Rueben's Burger Bar - Boulder
Under the Sun Eatery & Taphouse - Boulder
YUM!!!!
And Eileen back here. Apologies, I usually posted weekend dinner plans on Friday, but this week it's looking like it's too busy to do that. Lucky if I get those plans together for myself, much less finding the time to share, and that really is time-consuming!
