Good Deals At Lucky's This Week

Although out of my usual travel pattern, I happened to be in Lucky's Market's north Boulder neighborhood yesterday, and found some good deals there as usual, (through the 15th). Although I'm more intent on enjoying our seasonal spring veggies right now, organic broccoli is positively stunning at 49 cents a pound, and they have what appears to be the best price in town this week for six ounces of organic blueberries at $2 (Sunflower and Vitamin Cottage offering more in the $2.50 range, which is also pretty good). Lucky's has organic cantaloupe for 99 cents each, and considering how heavy a cantaloupe is, that's probably much better than the per pound specials around. Also, organic on-the-vine tomatoes are $2 a pound, basically matching Alfalfa's sale price (although Whole Foods has the organic roma variety for even less, $1.49 a pound), and organic romaine is great at 99 cents a head. I'm also tempted by Niman Ranch boneless ribeyes at $12.99 a pound, fresh Pacific snapper for $7.99 a pound, and Back to Nature crackers at $2.50 a box.
