The current sale at Vitamin Cottage (aka Natural Grocers) lasts through June 4th, and offers some interesting options to me. For instance, on-the-vine tomatoes, always organic at Vitamin Cottage, $1.99 a pound (although remember organic romas are 98 cents a pound this week at Sprouts), six ounce containers of organic raspberries $3.29 a pound, six ounce packages of Diestel select natural turkey slices $3.89 each, Wallaby organic yogurts 89 cents each, 25.4 ounce bottles of Spectrum organic extra virgin olive oil $9.99 each (regularly $15.29), some Annie's Homegrown natural mac and cheese just $1 a box ($1.50 for the organic or rice ones), Muir Glen organic pasta sauces or the big size of canned tomatoes $2.29 each, Annie's organic salad dressings $2.99 each (plus good specials on organic ketchup, mustards and bbq sauces nicely timed for Memorial Day), and Santa Cruz Organic peanut butters are $4.99 for a 16 ounce jar. Plus of course many specials on supplements.
