Whole Foods will offer us a trio of special sales for today only, the 12th, one of which is a flash sale, limited to 4 to 8 pm in the bulk department. The olive bar at nearly half price is particularly tempting, especially since Whole Foods' olive bars contain far more than olives. Last time I looked, the Pearl Street store's even had fresh pesto, which would be an absolute steal at $5.99 a pound. Here's what they say:
