This Week's Hot Grocery Deals (IMHO)

We have a new sale starting today at our Boulder Sprouts stores, while the current one continues at Whole Foods through September 15th. I also have the new Vitamin Cottage flyer, more on that just as soon as I have time.

At Sprouts through September 16th, all sorts of fresh boneless chicken cuts are 50% off, whole or split chickens are $1.69 a pound, chicken sausage is $3.99 a pound, Rosie organic chicken grill packs are $3.49 a pound, fresh ground chicken, pork or chicken breast are all $2.99 a pound, and center-cut boneless pork loin chops (roast also) are $2.99 a pound as well. The fish selections aren't doing a lot for me this week, although fresh farmed Atlantic salmon fillets are $6.99 a pound.

In organic produce at Sprouts, some Earthbound farm salads are BOGO, table carrots are $2.98 for a five pound bag, eight ounce packages of whole Baby Bella or white mushrooms are $2.50 each, and red, green or black seedless grapes are $2.50 a pound. Elsewhere in the store, the big BOGO sale continues, with lots of products buy one, get one free. Just look for the BOGO signs, although when I was there yesterday and planned to stock up on Muir Glen organic canned tomatoes, that shelf had been decimated. Also of note, bulk coffee is a great deal at $6.99 a pound.
