Time To Make Pesto!

Basil does not care for colder temperatures, and this upcoming weekend the lows are predicted to drop to around 40 degrees, not basil-friendly. With my plants looking more like bushes at this point, it's time to do a big round of pesto, to be divvied up in small containers for the freezer. Some people like to put it in ice cube trays, but I find the small deli containers from Whole Foods to be preferable. With a darkish, slightly rainy morning today, fall is upon us!
