A Summer Wine Primer

With temperatures reaching nearly 100 yesterday and expected around 96 today, it's a reminder that we should change our mindset regarding quaffable wines when it's sweltering out there.  Bon Appetit rides to the rescue with a Summer Wine Guide to help us out.  I already like vinho verde and rose for summer (and a good cremant is welcome any time of year), but txakoli is flat out new to me.  I see a wine experiment in my near future.
