National Geographic Tackles Food Waste

The new March issue of National Geographic takes on a favorite topic of mine, our horrible food waste, in its cover story, "How 'Ugly' Fruits and Vegetables Can Help Solve World Hunger." It is staggering how much food is wasted worldwide and how many hungry people it could feed. There are interesting related articles on the right, too.
