Saint Patrick's Day Ideas

It's not too soon to start thinking about what you might want besides/instead of corned beef and cabbage next week. I think I've also posted previously about how the Irish themselves couldn't afford corned beef in this country for many years, thinking themselves lucky to have a bit of salt pork to flavor that cabbage. And in Ireland prior to the famine, most people really lived on potatoes.
