Priciest Salmon I've Ever Seen

I'm not a fan to begin with  about our surge to get fresh wild salmon at the first moment we can deplete its stock, but yes, it's exciting that the season has just started.   But Whole Food's price for Copper River sockeye at $22.99 a pound was enough (and we just had that off the grill, and it was fantastic), but the idea that Whole Foods now has Copper River king salmon for a mind-blowing $44.99 a pound pretty much amazes me.
