With time so short, quickness will be the theme for both the ideas and their description this week. Tonight? Salmon burgers ("garden fresh") that are $7.99 a pound at Whole Foods this week. They have organic chard to go on the side at $1.67 a bunch.
Tomorrow the family griller will be sent outside to the grill to do some of the fresh halibut steaks Whole Foods new sale has at an impressive $14.99 a pound, plus I like their hardwood charcoal that's on sale for $4.99 a bag.
With afternoon storms perhaps more prevalent on Sunday, and needing a big thing for an easy midweek reheat, we'll head back inside for kale and white bean stew from Food and Wine magazine (although there are plenty of variations to be found on the web). No time to really explain where the deals would come from here, but it's a lovely and inexpensive recipe however you do it.
