I beg to differ with their sense of the calendar, since summer doesn't officially arrive until quite a bit later in June, but the Whole Foods store on Pearl is declaring summer officially begun, with a demo on summer produce tomorrow. To me, it won't be summer until that summer produce like corn is actually coming from our local farms, and that will be a while, although we have an abundance of spring greens, pea shoots and the like to enjoy from them now. Here's what Whole Foods says:
