Just a reminder that Whole Foods issued a big correction regarding their sales from today through Sunday, which I relayed here. I'm afraid our weekend plans are still in flux, as I was thinking of actually doing a pizza at home tonight, since prior forecasts were in the lower temperatures and "soaking rains" mode, but things seem to be backing off from that a bit. Heck, maybe we'll do takeout from a fine place like Carelli's or Pizzeria Basta.
Unless more storms move in tomorrow, it will be fish on the grill, either from Sprouts or Whole Foods (options detailed in the sales a few posts below, no time to check). With the most ever wonderful advent of our new season of fresh corn from Munson Farm, the side has to be summer corn sauté with tons of herbs (what a perfect name), using a bunch of herbs from my garden.
Temperatures are supposed to head way back up Sunday, and since that will be the last day of Whole Foods' revised weekend sale, we'll check out the shrimp gazpacho previously reported ($4.99 for 24 ounces). Seems like a cheat for a Sunday night, but hey, a shrimp gazpacho should only be eaten very fresh.
