New Deals At Vitamin Cottage

Another good cold and snowy morning, Boulder. (Just wait until tomorrow, when the high is only expected to be four degrees.) Vitamin Cottage has a new sale that just started, and it runs through March 1st. The item I'm seeing that warms my heart in these depths of winter is organic roma tomatoes for $1.69 a pound. How nice to find an organic tomato at an excellent price for the entire month of February. I'm also liking air-chilled, antibiotic-free whole fryer chickens at $2.29 a pound, Green and Black's organic chocolate bars $2.19 each (3.5 ounces), Lundberg's addictive rice chips $1.99 a bag for the natural, $2.35 a bag for the organic, big 28 ounce cans of Muir Glen organic tomatoes $2.15 each, and 25.4 ounce bottles of Spectrum organic extra virgin olive oil for $9.99 each when they are usually $15.15. The 50 ounce Seventh Generation 4X concentrated laundry detergent in its very cool recyclable package is a quite good price at $11.49 each, but I've grown so accustomed to the convenience of their little packets, I'm never going back to the liquid. And of course, being Vitamin Cottage, there are lots of good prices on supplements.
