Oscars Coming Up

So much fun and excuses for culinary partying in just a few days. This Sunday, we have the Academy Awards, typically a finger food and drinks night, followed a mere two days away by Mardi Gras on Tuesday. Since the emphasis seems to be on appetizers and finger foods for the Oscars, this also strikes me as an event where our new Boulder Trader Joe's could really come to the rescue with its many prepared offerings, sparing the cook a lot of work. Me, I'll probably stick with our more usual type of main course veering towards the healthy side. Boring, I know.
