When I refer to the Boulder Farmers' Market, I usually mean the Saturday and Wednesday ones in downtown Boulder, but it looks like I need to get more precise. The Boulder in the name actually refers to Boulder County. The market has long had a Saturday venue at the fairgrounds in Longmont, and now is adding a Wednesday evening one for downtown Longmont. Indeed, if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood, that downtown historic district is truly lovely, plus the new market is only a block away from such highlights as Ziggi's Coffee and the Longmont Public Library. Here's what the Boulder Farmers' Market says:
Wednesday, June 25: 4-8pm
Opening night at the Downtown Longmont Farmers' Market, 5th Avenue between Main and Kimbark
Come by to help us celebrate the launch of our brand new market downtown Longmont in partnership with the Longmont Downtown Development Authority. Longmont's Mayor Coombs will be in attendance and performing a ribbon cutting leading up to the open at 4pm.
