I'm a longtime fan of cooking and eating well, and love to pursue bargains along the way. Friends have asked that I share some tips from my weekly menu planning, and I hope these notes might help a few others in the Boulder area save some time trying to figure out what to have for dinner, largely based on what's on sale at Boulder's natural food stores. I'm on Twitter as @whatscookinbldr (not @bouldereileen!).

As a former chef, I am usually relegated to cooking during the tailgating, while everyone else parties. I work for DISH network now, and I just got the "Tailgater", so I can actually watch my games, get scores and highlights while I am workin' the grill. It's a portable, mini-satellite dish that hooks up to my 211k. It only weighs about ten pounds, and is self-adjusting, so I can just hook it up and watch, even if I'm flippin’ channels back and forth between the other games!! Very cool, and makes tailgating more enjoyable!!
