It's another stunning fall day in Boulder for today's Boulder Farmers' Market, starting at eight this morning. If you like to plan ahead, here's what you can expect to see today, from the Market's weekly newsletter. I focus on the one in downtown Boulder, but they even have a note about some additional produce you'll find if you're out at the one in Longmont. My, how the list is growing shorter. But on a brighter note, you can now pick up a 2012 calendar featuring our favorite local farmers, presented by "Pitchfork Pinups." I love it! (Although it looks like the farmers get to keep their clothes on.)

2012 Farmers of the Front Range Calendar Now Available
A beautiful, new 12-month wall calendar promoting a different Northern Colorado farmer each month (like this photo of the Cure Farm family) is now ready! It is in stock and available at Boulder County Farmers' Market info booths, and features the art of local photographer Darren Mahuron, a monthly seasonal local food recipe and biographical information for each farmer.
The calendar is presented by Pitchfork Pinups, Ltd., who will donate all profits after taxes to the farmers featured in the calendar. Some of your favorite market farmers are in the calendar, including: Abbondanza Organic Seeds and Produce, Cure Organic Farm, Hazel Dell Mushrooms, Jodar Farms, Pastures of Plenty, Red Wagon Organic Farm, and Windsor Dairy.
