Prep Those Knives For Thanksgiving

It's time to get those knives ready for all the holiday cooking to come. The cooking store What's Cooking at 2770 Arapahoe in Lafayette offers monthly knife sharpening, and the next one is tomorrow. If you get your knives in by noon, you'll have them back by 4 with a nice, newly sharp blade. Their prices are reasonable at $5 for a blade under 6 inches, and $6 for blades 6 inches and up. I've had my knives done there in the past, and they did an excellent job. (Unlike the German knife rep at a Boulder store that shall go unnamed who decimated one of my Wusthof Trident knives at a "free" sharpening. Not a deal.) If you miss this sharpening, the next one at What's Cooking will be November 9th.
