Beer and Cheese Tasting at Upslope Brewery. When we first decided to open Cured, while still living in Spain, we would spend hour upon hour scouring the appropriately slow Spanish Internet reading about the world of artisanal cheese. Time and time again
we found ourselves devouring articles by one woman, Janet Fletcher, who had the ability to describe cheeses in such a way that you were practically transported through time to taste with her, learning and discovering along the way. We still turn to her latest writings when we’re seeking inspiration for the shop. She has just published a new book on Beer and Cheese, two subjects that are rather close to our heart. She will be in Boulder over the weekend, signing books, holding tastings, and guiding a very cool class with Slow Food on Beer and Cheese Pairing. This Saturday (the 24th) from 5-7, join Slow Food and Janet Fletcher at Upslope Brewery’s Tap Room in Flatirons Park for a 2 hour guided Beer and Cheese Tasting.
