New Sale At Vitamin Cottage

The new sale at our local Vitamin Cottage stores runs all the way through September 28th (where is the summer going so quickly?), and here's what's looking especially good to me.  With a bit of picnic season still ahead of us, six ounce packages of Applegate organic sliced turkey look good at $4.99 each.  Red, green, and lacinato organic kale are all $1.50 a bunch, the convenient 15-ish ounce size of Muir Glen Organic canned tomatoes is great at $1.25 each (although I'm primarily using fresh at the moment), the big 25 ounce size of Westbrae organic canned beans is $1.99 each (time to stock up for winter chili?), my fave Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted breads are looking very good at $3.35 a loaf, eight ounce Noosa yoghurts are very low at $1.59 each, Cascadian Farm organic cereals are excellent at $2.49 a box, and addictive Lundberg rice chips are $1.99 a bag.  Overall, there seems to be an understandable emphasis on back to school lunchbox-type items.  Aside from the trio of sales on Maranatha peanut butters and almond butter, sales on things like apple sauce cups, Snackimals, Clif Kids bars and the like don't personally get me too excited.
